Summer Shimmer / Watery Wednesday

Late afternoon sun as it shimmers on the bay (Georgian Bay)
Taken late Aug 2008, untouched except for the logo and some cropping.

and I had to offer this photo of the bay today. The first time we can see open water since before Christmas. YAY. The ice is slowly melting!

What a truly beautiful vista!
I could pull me up a blanket or two and sit looking out for a long time!

That first shot is o so pretty! Love seeing light on the water like this! And great that the 2nd shot represents melting ice!

These are really pretty. They're both great but I really like the reflection of light in the water in the first shot.

I love the first shot, the way the leaves and grass frame the bay, also love the sun shimmer. beautiful.
