Mosaic Monday Dad Week

I hope it is okay that I have participated in two memes today. This one is very special and is sort of a tribute for Dad week, since June 21 is dad's day.

So TA DA My Dad. He was the best and I miss him a lot, but I was so lucky to have such a wonderful parents, that made saying good-bye to them so darn hard.

Here is to all the wonderful dad's.

For many FABULOUS mosaic, check out Mosaic Mondays at the Little Red House.

Family if you think about it truly is a mosaic. An interesting mix of big and small, men and women, all different personalities, sizes and behaviors.
Yours is great.

Hi Deb! I love seeing photos of you and your family! You are quite the cutie! My favorite is the one of you and your dad...with you wearing the little hat and carrying the pail, it looks like. I had a great dad, too, and miss him bunches! Have a great week...hugs...Debbie

What a lovely tribute to your Dad. Thank you for sharing it with us.

And do you live full time on the Vineyard now? I am jealous! -- it's an enchanted place.

Thank you all. I am kind of proud of it :) I have only visited MV and LOVED it. I live on the great lakes in Ontario. I am on Georgian Bay, a huge bay off Lake Huron.

My dad served in WW2 and with the UN forces in Korea. (My Mom served in WW2 also in the CWAC Canadian Women's Army Corp) I am incredibly proud of them, realize how fortunate I am and like to refer to their generation as the Extraordinary Ordinary Folks - worked hard, raised their families in homes of love and happiness, sacrificed for their country and their family and never complained.
