Skywatch Friday - Another Georgian Bay Sunset
I never tire of the sunsets, but I will get out with the camera now and see what I can do :o))
Taken late summer 2007 on a beach on the southern end of Georgian Bay, or as I like to call it Gorgeous Bay. It which really should be the 6th Great Lake/bay, instead of just part of Lake Huron.

Gorgeous image! It looks like a painting! Good job!!
Hey! Another Photomatix user! I've only HDR'ed a dozen or so photos so far, but it's quite the experience bringing out details from both exposure extremes.
Did you run this photo through Photomatix? I'd normally expect the fence to be darker, and it looks like you've got noise there, which is characteristic of HDR.
That is such an peaceful and heartwarmming photo, I love it.
Have a great weekend.

Oh Cool...the words out of my mouth when your site came up.
I attended summer camp in your neck of the woods many years ago (too many). Sure don't remember any beautiful sunsets like this.
What a beautiful photograph with great composition. The green plants make the sky colours more pronounced. Some of the best sunsets and sunrises I've experienced are on the Outer Islands of Gorgeous Bay! Thank you for sharing and have a great weekend.

A beautiful sunset reflecting on the sea and snow. One does not often see such a great glow on the snow.
Wow you are so lucky to call that place home. I am always looking for that quintessential beach shot with the dunes and the fence. Yours is just perfect.
